About The Poolewe Hotel

Relax and Enjoy

Here at The Poolewe Hotel, Sandie and Tony, with a young and enthusiastic team, are always on hand to make sure that your stay is both relaxing and enjoyable.

All our rooms are en-suite, most with wonderful sea or mountain views, and have been completely refurbished during these last two winters. The first floor accommodation includes a family room, with a king sized double and a single bed.

We have also three ground floor rooms with ramp access and self-catering appartments, for more details please visit our sister site @ http://www.pooleweselfcatering.co.uk

A ‘state of the art’ central heating system has also been installed, and during those cooler months, welcoming open fires burn in the public rooms.

Sandie & Matheusz lead in the Kitchen / restaurant, Paul brings his own unique flair to the bar and bistro and Tony is always on hand, to ensure that things run effortlessly, and with a professional and friendly style.

We can offer information about the many hill walks around this area of stunning beauty. some arduous, some easy and gentle. We will provide walkers’ ‘easy to read maps’, and packed lunches, and if a small group wish to try a walk a bit further afield, it’s no trouble to ferry you around in our courtesy mini-bus.

We can also arrange bicycle hire. From here it’s a steady undemanding cycle ride
along the loch side to the headland at Cove. A magnificent panorama unfolds at every turn, whether it be the great mountains of Wester Ross to the south, or the sea rolling north by the Hebridean islands towards the Arctic. En-route you would pass the splendid beaches at Firemore, and, maybe, take a dip in the Ocean.

The Hotel has extensive parking, and clothes drying facilities for walkers and cyclists.
